Coming before the Rev. Charles P. Schumacher July 30 in St. Stephen's Catholic
Church, Chili, to be married were Miss Penny Sue Nichols, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Nichols of Route 1, Loyal, and Christopher Paul Conner, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Wayne G. Connor of Route 1, Chili.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents during nuptials for which Jay
Parker was organist. She wore a white gown and derby and carried a wedding
bouquet.
Miss Martha Krahn, Loyal, was maid of honor with Miss Mary Ederer and Miss
Michelle Schlagenhaft, both of Loyal, and Miss Gretchen Conner of Chili as
bridesmaids. They had royal blue gowns and arrangements of blue and white
carnations.
Scott Krasselt of Chili was best man. Groomsmen were Rod Jakobi and Randy
Hildebrandt, both of Chili, and Mel Coleman, Granton, and ushering were Rod
Schulz, Spencer, and Ted Conner, Chili.
The dinner was served in the church basement and the dance was at the American
Legion Hall in Loyal. After a honeymoon in the Wisconsin Dells area, the Conners
will live at Spencer,
