Miss Elizabeth Ann Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Bauer, 12005
Pleasant Road, was given in marriage by her father August 6 to John C. Burke of
Spencer.
The nuptials were in Wesley United Methodist Church. Jan Muench was soloist;
Miss Kathy Biederwolf, organist.
The bride had a white chantilly lace gown with chapel train, a silk floral
wreath holding a fingertip veil and a bouquet of peach roses with baby's breath.
Miss Karen Bauer of Marshfield was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Sarah
Greenlaw of Marshfield and Miss Elizabeth Burke, La Crosse. They had peach and
white formals and bouquets of peach and white carnations with baby's breath.
John Wingert of Stevens Point was best man. Groomsmen were Broderick Winters of
Marshfield, David Wroblewski of St. Anthony, Minnesota, and Charles Eisenbach,
Eau Claire. Ushering were Bradley Bauer, Marshfield, and David Krause, Wausau.
The wedding dinner, reception and dance were at the Village Plaza, Spencer. The
newlyweds are living in Oshkosh at 2120 Bowen St., Apt 8.
The bride a 1979 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School, attended the
University of Wisconsin Center, Marshfield-Wood County, and graduated in May
from the UW-Eau Claire. Her husband, a 1978 graduate of Spencer High School,
also attended the local UW Center and graduated last December from the Eau
Claire university. He is an associate sales representative for Wausau Insurance
Companies.
