NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 11/15/1923 Bever, Mrs. Carl
(21 OCT 1897 - 10 NOV 1923) Mrs. Carl Bever of
the town of Levis, Clark County, Wis., died in the Marshfield
Hospital ambulance while being taken to the hospital Saturday, Nov.
10th, 1923. As a last hope to find relief for her it was decided to
try to get her to the hospital, but she passed away near
Granton. Mrs. Bever was 26
years old on Oct. 21, 1923. She was born in Ontario, and was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Erpenbach, who now live near
Christie. She was married to Carl Bever about five years ago at St.
Mary's Ridge, Monroe Co., and they soon after came to Clark County.
They lived for a year on the farm now occupied by her parents, then
moved south of Day Corners, where they have lived since. Her death
is indeed a very sad one. She leaves three small children, the
oldest four years old and the youngest a baby only a week old.
Besides her parents, two sisters and one brother. She was a good
and faithful wife and loving mother, and lived a pious Christian
life. She was a helpful member of the Ladies Society of St. Mary's
Catholic Church. The funeral was
held at St. Mary's Church Tuesday morning, a very large
congregation of mourning relatives and friends being in attendance
and Rev. P. Weber officiating. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
