NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 02/14/1924 Schlinsog, August
Jr. (13 Feb 1876 - 10 Feb 1924) August Schlinsog,
Jr., died at his home in the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis. at
one o'clock Sunday morning after years of patient suffering from
diabetes. Mr. Schlinsog
would have been 48 years of age had he lived until Wednesday, the
day of his funeral. He was born in Grant, a son of August and
Paulina Schlinsog and on the farm where he died and which has
always been his home. He was married on Nov. 14, 1911 to Margaret
Schlinsog, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Schlinsog. She, with
their two children, Wilbert aged 9 and Emil aged 6 years, survive
him, as do his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Schlinsog Sr., now
of Chili, Clark county, Wis. The funeral was
held from the home and Rev. Reiff's church on Wednesday afternoon,
Rev. Reiff officiating, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
The pallbearers were Carl Braatz, Paul and Robert Garbisch, Emil
Prange, Ervin Grassman and Paul Roder. Deceased was a
good Christian citizen, a well beloved son, brother, husband and
father, and a kind friend and neighbor, whose long illness and
short life are grievously lamented by his relatives and a large
circle of admiring friends. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
