NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 02/28/1924 Malamphy, Jack
(1880? - 22 Feb 1924) Jack Malamphy, who
for three years had been a patient in the Mt. Washington Sanitarium
at Eau Claire, died Friday afternoon, Feb. 22, 1924, aged 43 years.
He was born at Camp Douglas, Wis., and came here with his parents.
When quite young he began railroad work, which he continued for 25
years, 3 years in train services and 22 years in track service. He
was a most faithful and efficient employee, and so much was his
work appreciated by the railroad co., that his sanitarium treatment
was received at the company's expense. He was generally well liked
by people here (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.), who have deeply
sympathized with him in his long illness. He leaves four children:
Hilbert and Dorothy at Chili with his aunt, Mrs. Andrews, and Irene
and Genevieve here with his parents. He leaves also his father,
mother, two brothers, Ed and Dan, and one sister Nellie, at home.
Two brothers, William and Charles, are deceased. The funeral was
held Monday forenoon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rev. P. Weber
officiating. Those from away
who attended the funeral were Hilbert and Dorothy Malamphy of
Chili, his aunt, Mrs. Finn of Elroy, Mrs. Tauscher and Wm. Martin
of Chili. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
