Amber Brill began her duties on Feb. 8 as the Greenwood Area Public Library’s new director. She succeeds Kim Metzke, who retired from the position after 13 years. Amber and her family recently moved to Willard from the Horicon/Beaver Dam area, and she took a job last year as an assistant at the Greenwood Library. She is a former police officer from Lake Geneva, and also served six years in the Army National Guard. She plans to continue all of the existing programs in Greenwood, and will be taking courses soon to obtain her library director credentials.
