Meihock, Erna (Marriage - 4 April 1923)
A company of about twenty-five intimate friends and relatives witnessed the marriage April 4th of Miss Erna Meihock and Mrs. Ernest Zick at the home of Miss Berica Vanderlyn where the bride lived for a number of years. The ceremony was performed at eight o’clock in the evening by Rev. M. L. Guebert, pastor of the Lutheran church. The bridesmaid and best man were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Zick of Amby, Ill., Mr. Zick being a brother of the groom. The bride was lovely in a wedding gown of gray Canton crepe. Following the ceremony a delicious repast was served.
The bride and the groom are well known here. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Meihock of Neillsville, Wis. And is a young lady highly respected by all who know her. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zick of this village. After serving with the American forces in the United States he returned to engage in his former occupation that of farming. After a brief honeymoon trip Mr. and Mrs. Zick will move to Clinton to be at home to friends after April 14 on the farm east of town known as the Woolston place. They have the best wishes of many friends for long life and happiness. Clinton, Wis. Banner.
