Davis, Frances (Marriage - 20 June 1923)
George Procazka of Neillsville and Miss Frances Davis of Granton were quietly married on Wednesday June 20, at the Disciple parsonage, Rev. Wilson Mallory officiating. They were attended by Robert Prochazka, Jr., brother of the groom, and Stella Davis, sister of the bride.
The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Prochazka, Sr., of Neillsville. He is a young man of excellent reputation and has many friends in this community. He has a position in the George May meat market at Neillsville.
The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis of Granton, a lady of sterling worth who always lived at home and lightened the burdens of her parents in many ways. She is possessed of a cheerful disposition that wins friends for her everywhere. She was attired in a gown of brown crepe de chine and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. She also wore a string of pearls, a gift from the groom.
The young couple left by auto immediately after the ceremony for Hilsboro, Elroy and various other states points. Upon returning they will take up residence in Neillsville. Their host of friends extend their heartiest congratulations.
