Kuhn, Ernest (16 May 1847 - 27 June 1923)
Ernest Kuhn, one of the older residents of the town of Washburn died June 27, 1923, aged 76 years, one month and 11 days. He was born in Saxony, Germany May 16, 1847. He grew to manhood there and was married to Emelia Hamman. They came to America in 1881 and lived in Milwaukee 22 years, then moving to the town of Washburn, which has been his home since. He was an industrious man and had the respect of all who knew him. He leaves his wife and three sons, Paul, Emil and Robert, all living in the town of Washburn. He leaves also seven grandchildren. (There might have been more, not sure.)
