Garbisch, Clara (Marriage - 30 June 1923)
Mr. Henry Helm and Miss Clara Garbisch were united in marriage Saturday evening, June 30, at Maple Works Church, Rev. Hasz officiating. The bride and groom were attended by tree couples: Mr. Louis Helm and Adalia Garbisch; Mr. Daniel Garbisch and Miss Emma Gluch; Mr. Edward Garbisch and Miss Ardina Helm. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, at which a very large assemblage of relatives and friends were present. The rooms were beautifully decorated and bountiful supper was served.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Helm of the town of Lynn. He has lived most of his life at home on the farm with his parents, but was employed last winter for a time in Milwaukee. He is a fine young man. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Garbisch of the town of Lynn. She is a very attractive young lady and has a host of friends. She has spent most of her life at home except a few months when she was employed in Milwaukee. The young couple have not yet decided where they will reside in the future, but will live for the present in the town of Lynn.
