Seaton, Margaret (Marriage - 14 July 1923)

On July 14 Miss Margaret Seaton and Glenn D. Robinson were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Howard Jarnee in Detroit, Mich., the Rev. M. C. Rice, pastor of the First Congregational church at Woodward and Forest Avenues officiating.

The wedding was a quiet one, only close friends being present.

Mrs. Robinson is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Seaton of Ashland, Wis., a graduate of Ashland high school and New England Conservatory of Music at Boston. She is a handsome young lady, one of society’s debutantes, a fine musician and a singer of some note. Mr. Robinson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Robinson of Neillsville, a graduate of Neillsville high school and Carrol College of Waukesha, Wis. He had a position as chemist for the Du Pont Powder Co. at Barksdale, Wis., for three years and at the close of the World’s War was transferred to Penn’s Grove, N. J.; later he accepted a position as Chemical Engineer at Edgewood, Arsenal Edgewood, Md., a position he now holds. He is one of our finest young men. This young couple start out life with every prospect for a happy journey. They will tour the New England states in their Apperson car on a honeymoon trip, spending some time in the resorts in the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains and will be at home to their friends after September 1st, in their beautiful new bungalow in Baltimore, Md.
