Peaslee, Myrtie (Marriage - 25 July 1923)
Mr. Eldred Davis and Miss Myrtie Peaslee were united in the holy bonds on matrimony by the Rev. Wilson Mallory at the Disciple parsonage on Wednesday, July 25, 1923.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Peaslee of the town of York. She came here with her parents about two years ago from Richland County since which time she has won many friends. The bride was tastefully gowned in a cocoa brown canton crepe.
The groom an only son of Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davis needs no introduction to our readers he having been here all his life.
The young couple left shortly after the ceremony by auto for a visit to her brothers in Richland County. They will visit the Dells of Wisconsin and several other places enroute.
They were attended by Lucile Davis a sister of the bride.
