Davis, Lila (Marriage - 9 March 1925)
Mr. Charles M. Hubing and Miss Lila Davis was united in the holy bonds of matrimony on March 9, 1925, at the Disciple parsonage by the Rev. Wilson Mallory. The bride was attired in a gown of peach colored beaded georgette over silk of that same shade, while the groom wore navy blue. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hubing, brother and sister of the newly weds. The bridesmaid, one of the last June’s brides, wore her wedding gown, a turquoise blue georgette, over blue silk the grooms man wore navy blue. This young couple need no introductions to our readers, having always lived around here and will continue to live on his farm in Grant.
