Parve, LeRoy W. LeRoy W. Parve of Athelstane, WI, passed away Nov. 19, 2012, age 83 years surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Esther "Rosy" (nee Rosynek) Parve. Loving father of Terrence (Cindy) Parve and Cheryl (Michael) Reupert. Proud grandpa of Marie, Jaclynn, Stephanie and Michelle. Brother of Leland (Ruby) Parve. Also survived by other relatives and friends. LeRoy was raised by his Grandmother and Uncle Ellerd on a farm in Owen, WI. He attended Moody School and walked further on to the nearby town of Withee to learn to play his grandfather's cornet. He spent his high school years at Owen High School, where he was on the football team. LeRoy moved to Milwaukee after high school to find work, where he reunited with his mother, sister Lorraine and brothers Lloyd and Leland. He then met Esther Rosynek whom he married and they became known as Roy and Rosy by friends. Once they started a family, they moved to Menomonee Falls, WI. When LeRoy retired from the Milwaukee Road railroad, he and Rosy moved "up north" to the home they built in Athelstane. LeRoy enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, hiking, chopping wood and camping. Visitation Saturday, Dec. 1, beginning at 9 AM followed by Services at 11 AM all at the Funeral Home. Interment at Valhalla Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Friends of the Old School, P.O. Box 102, Owen, WI 54460 appreciated. RAASCH-RAETZ FUNERAL HOME 7709 W.
