**Note--Geneva Berrett (b. Oct. 3, 1909) was the daughter of Calvin and Lottie (Berg) Davis. She was a student at La Tart School, in the Town of Beaver, and graduated from Greenwood High School. After attending Teachers Training School in Neillsville, she taught in area rural schools and the School District of Greenwood. Her teaching career spanned over 50 years. She and her husband, Verland L. Berrett, married at Winona, Minnesota and had three children of their own-- Jean, Duane, and James.
