Pictured above is the funeral card for Melvin Ostenson who was born Sept. 28, 1890 and died July 18, 1959. His service was held at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby with Rev. Orval Egbert officiating and interment was made in the Pine Hill Cemetery of Curtiss, Clark co., Wisconsin.

His family meant everything to him, so he did what he had to in order to create a good life for them! He scratched out a living in some very tough times... even earning a living for a while doing "moonshine", when times got rough, was not below this fine man.
His life ended too soon after his wife, Tina, died. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family.
Melvin was known as a baseball player! That was one of the loves of his life. He farmed many years, but his love was baseball.
