NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 05/29/1924 Counsell, Fay (4
JUL 1920 - 24 May 1924) Fay Counsell,
little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Counsell of the town of
Grant, Clark County, Wis., died at the Marshfield Hospital,
Saturday, May 24, 1924. She was born July 4, 1920, and was a bright
winsome child. A few months ago she seemed to be in poor health and
prompt efforts were made to secure help for her, but her disease,
which proved to be enlargement of the liver and spleen was beyond
medical help. The funeral will
be held at the home at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, Rev. W. T. Scott
coming from Durand to officiate. (Follow on in
6/12/1924 Neillsville Press) Fay Elaine
Counsell was born July 4, 1920 and died at 4:30 p.m., May 24, 1924,
at the Marshfield Hospital, where she had received every care and
attention that love and medical skill could bestow upon her. She
was the younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Counsell of
Pleasant Ridge, Clark County. The family consisting of parents, one
sister, Ila, together with a large circle of immediate relatives,
including four grandparents, are stricken with grief. Little Fay was
possessed of a peculiarly sweet and gentle disposition, which
endeared her not only to the family but to everyone that came
within the radius of her smile. Though she was loaned to us for
such a short space of time, as we count the years, who can say that
the influence of her little life shall not go on through the years,
leading us into the same childlike faith and trust in God and man,
"Behold, a little child shall lead them." The sympathies of
the entire community go to the family in their grief and
loneliness. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
