Mrs. Wilhelmina Goldamer died suddenly of heart trouble at the home of her son William in Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., at 10 o'clock a.m., Tuesday, July 15, 1924, aged 77 years, 5 months and 13 days. She was born in Germany Feb. 2, 1846. Her maiden name was Wilhelmine Handt. She grew to womanhood in Germany, coming here when a young woman. She was married to Julius Goldamer at Neillsville in 1873, and soon after settled on their land in Pine Valley, Clark County, where a fine farm was developed. Mr. Goldamer died 19 years ago, but she continued to live on the farm until about five years ago, when the farm was sold, and since then she has made her home with her son. She was a good, home loving woman, and did her full share in the pioneer work which fell to her lot on a new timbered farm. She was a good wife and mother and a kind neighbor. To her and her husband were born 12 children, five of who survive her, namely: Louis and Paul in Canada, William in Neillsville, Alvin in Abbotsford, and Charles at Nasonville. She leaves also two sisters, Mrs. Albert Viergutz at Lynn, and Mrs. August Lautenbach at Thief River, Minn. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home in Neillsville and at 2 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rev. H. Brandt officiating.
