(18 JUN 1870 - 29 Sep 1924) Mrs. Gustav Beilke
died at her home in the town of Lynn, Clark County, Wis., Monday
morning, Sept. 29, 1924. She had been sick for a long time and had
received treatment for several weeks at the Marshfield Hospital,
but no relief was found for her. Mrs. Beilke, whose
maiden name was Augusta Hanke, was born in Sheboygan Co., June 18,
1870. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Hanke, and came
to the town of Lynn with her parents when she was a young girl. She
grew to womanhood there, and was there married to Gustav Beilke in
1892. They have lived on their farm in the town of Lynn ever since.
Mrs. Beilke was a woman who was greatly esteemed by all who knew
her. She was a kind neighbor and active in church and religious
work. She will be greatly missed in the home and community. Besides
her husband she leaves two sons, Harry Beilke, living in the town
of Grant, and Theodore on the home farm. She leaves also two
sisters, Mrs. Wm. Wischuelke of the town of Grant and Mrs. T.
Moreland in California, and a half brother, Ernest Nitschke in the
town of Lynn, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held
Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the house, and at 1:30 at the
