Huntzicker, Mary (?? August 1904 - 20 April 1925)

Mary Huntzicker, oldest daughter of Victor E. and Blanche R. Huntzicker, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 20, at their home on Frederick Avenue, Milwaukee.

Mary was born in Neillsville, in August 1904. When a young girl she moved with her parents to Milwaukee. She graduated from River Side High School and attended Milwaukee Downer College one year. Her health failed and she spent a year with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Prescott in New Jersey, returning later and was a patient for some time in Muirdale Sanatorium. About four weeks ago she was taken home where she died.

Neillsville friends will remember Mary best as a beautiful and lovable little girl, and later when she visited here, in the years of young womanhood, as one whose life was full of promises, and will grieve to know that her day of life was so short.

She is survived by her parents, three sisters: Helen, a student at the State University at Madison, Victoria and Blanche, and one brother Merritt at home.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. H. M. Root, burial taking place in Neillsville Cemetery.
