Mr. Ernest Ott and Miss Caroline Zickmund were united in marriage Saturday afternoon June 6th, at Marshfield, Rev. Hansel of the Lutheran Church officiating.
Edward Kier, nephew of the groom, and Miss Emma Henning acted as witnesses.
The bride wore a powder blue canton crepe dress, with hat to match. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Meier, where a bountiful supper was served.
The groom is the son of Mr. John Ott of the town of Grant, and a former member of the A. E. F. He is a very earnest and ambitious young man. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Meier of Levis, a young lady of excellent character. She is very capable of taking care of the duties of her new home.
The young couple will live in the town of Grant on the farm owned by the groom. They have the best wishes of their many friends.
