(14 May 1924) Wednesday evening
at 8 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Bertha Schlinsog of Chili, Clark
County, Wis., occurred the marriage of her daughter Ruth to Mr.
William Bandt also of Chili. Only near relatives were present. They
were attended by Mr. Walter King of Coloma, cousin of the groom,
and Miss Martha Schilling, sister of the bride. The bride was
attired in white Spanish lace over white satin and wore a veil. The
bridesmaid was gowned in blue crepe de chine. The rooms were
decorated in blue and white. The wedding march was played by Mrs.
Ferdinand Schilling. Rev. and Mrs. Harvey Bandt sang a duet during
the ceremony. A bountiful supper was served after the ceremony.
Covers were laid for 57. Many beautiful and
useful present were received. The groom is a prosperous and highly
respected farmer, and the bride also is highly esteemed by all who
know her. They will live on the groom's farm near Chili. Those from
out of town were: Rev. and Mrs. W. F. Schuelke and daughter Nelda
of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. King and family, Mr. and Mrs.
