NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 06/26/1924 Crothers, Marie A.
(20 JUN 1924) Mr. James A. Musil
and Miss Marie A. Crothers were quietly married at the home of the
bride's father south of the city (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.),
Friday morning, June 20, 1924, the day also being the bride's
twenty-first birthday.. Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiated, the ring
ceremony being used. They were attended by Mr. Harland A. Kintzele,
who acted as groomsman, and Miss Theo Gallagher was bridesmaid.
Only relatives a a few near friends of the bride and groom were in
attendance. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Musil
of Neillsville. He spent his early boyhood on their farm in
Nebraska, where he attended country school. After coming here he
entered Neillsville High School, graduating in 1919. Later he
graduated from the Wis. Business University at La Cross, and for
nearly four years past has been employed in the First National Bank
of Neillsville, in which he is assistant cashier. The bride is the
only daughter of George E. Crothers. She was born and brought up
here, graduated from Neillsville High School in the class of '21,
spent one year in Milwaukee Downer College and the past year at the
Wis. Library School at Madison. When not away attending school, she
had charge of the work in her father's home. The young couple left
soon after the ceremony for a few days auto trip in the lake region
of Northern Wisconsin. The groom's
parents expect to go to Nebraska in a few weeks to make their home
for some time, and the young couple will then take up housekeeping
in the Musil residence. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
