NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 08/28/1924 Vincent, Gertrude
(20 Augl 1924) Mr. Glynn Tisdale
and Miss Gertrude Vincent were united in marriage Aug. 20th, 1924,
at the M. E. Parsonage in Neillsville, Rev. Wm. Walder officiating.
The groom was attended by Mr. Bert Tisdale, his brother, and Miss
Keziah Vincent, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. The bride wore a
dress of canton crepe gray and navy blue, and the bridesmaid was
attired in brown charmeuse. The groom and best man wore brown. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Vincent of this city, formerly of
the town of York, Clark County, Wis. She grew to womanhood in York
and entered Neillsville High School, graduating from the Teachers'
Training department, and has taught school successfully for several
years. She is a young lady of fine mental and moral endowments and
has won the admiration and respect of all with whom she came in
contact. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tisdale and was brought up on their farm
near Withee, Clark County. He is now employed in a garage in that
village. While he has not a wide acquaintance here, all who know
him speak most highly of him. The young couple
left Thursday morning for a trip to Richland Co. and other points
in the state. The best wishes of
the Neillsville friends go with them to their new home. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
