Detroit, Mich., and Miss Clarice Dodte of Neillsville, Clark
County, Wis., were united in marriage at Minneapolis, Oct. 21,
1924. The bride was born
and brought up at the farm home east of the city, graduated from
Neillsville High School, took a course in Normal school at Detroit,
Mich., was a successful teacher and for some time was secretary in
the office of County Superintendent of this county. In all her work
she was very efficient, and was much liked in a social way. She is
a young lady of refinement and intellectual gifts. The groom has
only a limited acquaintance her, but is highly spoken of by those
who know him. He has a responsible position in the police
department of the city of Detroit. The bride and
groom are spending their honeymoon visiting friends in Marshfield,
Oshkosh and other points in Wisconsin. The groom has a leave of
absence till Oct. 31, after which date they will return to Detroit
