evening E. A. Hardies and Miss Laura Mertes were united in marriage
by Rev. Brandt at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Brandt. The young
couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Brandt. The bride has
spent practically all her life in this city (Neillsville, Clark
County, Wis.), being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Mertes, who
moved to Danbury a number of years ago. Mrs. Hardies is an employee
of the Big Store, having been in the grocery department for over
eight years. She is a most efficient and capable young lady and one
of many fine qualities which have endeared her to the hearts of all
who know her. The groom is a son of Mrs. R. Hardies of Glenwood
City and has held a position as cashier at the depot for nearly
five years. He is a fine young man of excellent qualities. Mr. and
Mrs. Hardies have taken rooms in the Rude home on Grand Av. And the
best wishes of their friends is extended to them. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
