Miss Rhonda L. Bartsch and Angelo Doud, both of Burlington, Iowa, were married
August 7 at Lowell Baptist Church, Lowell, Iowa, with the Rev. Ian Armstrong
officiating.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Bartsch of Route 1, Granton, was given in
marriage by her parents to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Doud of Keosauqua,
Iowa. Nuptial music was provided by Alan and Theresa Earnest of Mediapolis,
Iowa, and Ed Hart, Burlington, Iowa.
The bride's ivory gown was fashioned of fabric and lace, Flowers were arranged
in her hair and she carried a bouquet of burgundy roses.
Miss Sharon Vine of Granton was maid of honor with Mrs. Don DeJaynes of
Gladstone, Illinois and Miss Heidi Sischo, Neillsville, the bridesmaids. They
had blue, yellow, lilac and pink frocks and carried roses to complement their
attire.
Samara Doud and Luke DeJaynes were flower girl and ring bearer respectively.
Tony Doud of Burlington, Iowa, was best man. Groomsmen were Don DeJaynes,
Gladstone, Illinois, and Ron Bartsch, Granton, and ushering was Brian Swafford
of Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
Dinner was served at the church in Lowell and the reception was at Keosauqua. On
October 8 there will be another reception in Granton. The newlyweds are living
in Burlington, Iowa and plan a trip at a later time.
The bride, a 1981 graduate of both Granton High School and North Central
Technical Institute-Wausa, is in charge of floor personnel at Montgomery Ward in
Burlington, Iowa. Her husband, a musician and Home construction, graduated at
Keosauqua, Iowa.
