Kendall, Emma (15 Nov. 1836 - 20 May 1925)

Mrs. Emma Kendall, widow of Charles Kendall, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harvey Campbell, Wednesday, May 20.

Mrs. Kendall was born at Elmira, New York, Nov. 15, 1836, and moved with her parents to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, when she was 8 years of age. When 16 years of age she was married to Chas. F. Kendall. To this union 7 children were born, 4 of whom remain to mourn her loss: Mrs. Harvey Campbell, Neillsville; Mrs. C. C. Crandall, St. Paul; Mrs. G. W. Sparks, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Charles B. Kendall of Chicago. Her husband preceded her in death in 1885.

Mrs. Kendall was a woman of the very highest type of Christian character. For many years, until her advancing age and failing strength interfered, she was an active worker in the Congregational church of which she was a member.

Funeral services were held at the Harvey Campbell home Friday, Rev. Wm. Walder officiating. The remains were taken to Oconomowoc for burial in the family lot of the cemetery there.
