IMPROVEMENTS AT CEMETERY
Extensive improvements are going on at the cemetery under the direction of the Cemetery Committee, Wm. H. Huntley, G. C. Deutsch and H. L. Brown. A large new addition has been graded and is being staked out on the east side of the old plots and new roads load out and extended into this addition. This will later lead to vacating the road running north and south near the East side of the present cemetery as this road will not be needed. The southwest corner of the cemetery near the street is being filled in and four nice lots will be laid out there.
J. W. Hommel has supervision of the work and several men have been helping with the grading. The cemetery is kept in fine condition by the care-taker, Wm. Vandeberg.
