McKahn, Helen (Marriage - 6 August 1925)
Mr. Walter Schultz and Miss Helen McKahn were quietly married August 6, at Menomonie, Michigan the announcement of the marriage coming as a bit of a surprise to some of their friends here.
Mr. Schultz is one of the prominent business men of this city. Being associated with Mr. Melchoir Hoesly in the Ford Garage. He grew up at the farm home in the town of York, took a course in Agriculture at the State University, later coming to Neillsville with his father, after he sold the farm. For a time he was engaged in the mercantile business and other lines of enterprise here. He had taken quite an active part in polities and at the present is Under Sheriff for Clark County. He served with distinction through this country’s part in the World War and some time after his return went into the automobile business in which he is now engaged. The home of the bride is at River Falls but can well be called a Neillsville young lady, as she has been employed for more than two years at the Sweet Shop, where she has made a wide circle of friends. She has a fine personality and rare womanly graces. Mr. Schultz has rented the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Huntley, where he and his bride will be at home after August 15. A host of friends offer their best wishes, in which the Press most heartily joins.
