ABBOTSFORD -- William Hoffman, 39, of Appleton, formerly of Abbotsford, died
Wednesday at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah.
Services will be Saturday at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev.
Richard L. Fliss of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, will officiate. Burial
will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Maurina Funeral
Home, Abbotsford.
He was born May 26, 1944 in Abbotsford, to the Late Mr. and Mrs. George (Dorcia
Rusk) Hoffman. He attended Abbotsford High School. On December 26, 1971 he
married Rochelle Rochon. She survives. He had lived in Appleton the last 15
years, where he was employed as a maintenance man in the experimental laboratory
at Kimberly-Clark Paper Co. in Neenah. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a
life-time member of the Veterans of Foreign wars, Post 2227 of Colby.
Survivors include three step-sons, Jules and Neal Clapps, and Nick Lock, all of
Combined Locks; and five brothers, Thomas of Abbotsford, Richard of Durham,
North Carolina, Bernard of Oshkosh, Theodore and Kurt, both of Milwaukee.
He was also predeceased by two sisters.
