Rennie, William J. (14 December 1941 – 15 March 2022)

William J. Rennie, age 80, of Owen, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Clark County Health Rehabilitation and Living Center in Owen.

Bill was born on December 14, 1941, the son of William J. and Gladys I. (Lang) Rennie Sr. in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Marathon High School and attended UW-Stevens Point earning a degree in conservation. Bill was united in marriage to Gladys Irene Kropidlowski on February 23, 1963, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Poniatowski. He was an accountant in the Owen area for 40 plus years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the time spent at his cabin on Otter Lake.

William is survived by his wife: Gladys Rennie of Owen, sons: Brian (Lori) Rennie and Todd (Nancy) Rennie, granddaughters: Emily (Jacob) Galica, Kimberly, Jessica, Elizabeth and Samantha Rennie, and a great-grand-daughter: Sophia Galica, he is further survived by his two brothers: Richard (Rita) Rennie and Thomas (Carolyn) Rennie, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 9th, 2022, from noon until 3 p.m. at Iggy’s Bar and Grill. (522 West Mill Street, Withee, WI)

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Abbotsford Sportsman’s Club.
