Whittemore, Edward Walter (7 Dec. 1859 - 14 Sept. 1925)

Edward Walter Whittemore was born Dec. 7, 1859, in Vienna Township, Ill. He passed away Sept. 14, 1925, aged 65 years, 9 months and 7 days. On Sept. 1884, he married Alice J. Nutt. To this union six children were born. Deceased has lived for the past few years near Lynn, Wis. He leave to mourn his loss, his wife, Mrs. E. W. Whittemore, three daughters, Mrs. M. Kotoff of Chicago, Ella and Elsie Whittemore, both residing at home and three sons, Cecil S. Whittemore, Peoria, Ill., Gilbert E. Whittemore, Chicago, Ill., and Ziden E. Whittemore residing at home, all of whom were present at the funeral; two sisters and two brothers. Deceased had one grandchild who was present at the funeral, also one son-in-law.

Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon, conducting by Rev. J. Irish. The remains were laid to rest in the Lynn Cemetery.
