Wegner, Helen (Marriage - 28 Nov. 1925)

Mr. Clarence Elmhorst and Miss Helen Wegner was quietly married Saturday, Nov. 28, at St. John’s Lutheran Church parsonage, Rev. Brandt officiating.

They were attended by Miss Gertrude Wegner, the bride’s sister, who was bridesmaid and Mr. Walter Elmhorst the groom’s brother who was best man. After the ceremony they drove to the home of the bride’s parents in the town of Grant where a fine supper was served. A reception was also given them the next day.

The groom is the son of Mr. Henry Elmhorst of the town of Fremont. He learned the cheese making trade and fro the past four years has been employed in the Pleasant Ridge Creamery. He is a young man of steady habits and is well liked by all who have met him in either a business or social way.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Wegner of the town of Grant. She completed the rural school course in her home district and graduated from the Neillsville High School in the class of ‘25, taking the commercial course. She was for some time employed as a stenographer in the office of Schuster and Campman. She is a young lady of most likable personality and has many friends among our young people.

For the present the young couple will make their home with the bride’s parents which is not far distant from the Pleasant Ridge Creamery where the groom is employed. The Press extends best wishes.
