AUG 1833 - 27 Augl 1926) Mrs. Sarah Reber,
widow of Fred Reber, died at Spokane, Wash., Aug. 27, 1926, aged 93
years and 19 days. She was born in
Union Co., Penn., Aug. 9, 1833, and lived there till she was 11
years of age, then moving with her parents to Illinois, where she
grew to womanhood. In 1848 she was married to Frederick Reber, and
soon after they came to Clark County, Wis., settling at the town of
Weston where Mr. Reber operated a saw mill for a number of years,
and cleared up a farm. They moved to Neillsville, where Mr. Reber
died. Mrs. Reber made her home here till 1913 when she went
west. To Mr. and Mrs.
Reber were born four children, two died in infancy; a daughter,
Meda, was drowned when 15 years old; another daughter, Mrs.
Angeline Ferguson, died in 1913. Mrs. Reber is survived by a
granddaughter, Mrs. H. N. Creviston and a great grandson, Howard
Creviston, both of Spokane. Mrs. Reber had an
active and well preserved mind for a woman of her age; she made
friends wherever she went and was beloved by all. The funeral was
held at Hazen and Jaiger's Chapel, Spokane, Rev. Chas. Koehler of
