Garrison, Anna (1855 - 24 OCT 1926)

Mrs. L. O. Garrison, one of the earlier settlers at Thorp, Clark County, Wis., died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1926, at the age of 71. She was born in Wood County, her maiden name being Anna Harkness. In 1874 she was married to L. O. Garrison, and in 1880 they came to Thorp, where he carried on a mercantile business until his death in 1913. Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Garrison, Julia, Lilah and Mosman, all deceased. A granddaughter, Edith Garrison, is the only living descendent. The funeral was held at the home Oct. 26, and burial took place in the Garrison family lot in the cemetery at Wis. Rapids.
