SEP 1856 - 20 Dec 1926) Mr. George Mosier
was born in Jasper Co., Iowa, on Sept. 12, 1856, and died Dec. 20,
1926, at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 8 days. In the year 1881
he was united in marriage with Eliza McCuen at Monroe, Iowa. A
daughter and a son were born to them: Mrs. A. C. Nolin of Newton,
Iowa, and Osa Mosier of Madison, Wis. Soon after
marriage he united with the Church of Christ near Monroe, of which
church he remained a member until his death. In the year 1920,
Mr. and Mrs. Mosier moved to the town of Sherwood, Clark County,
Wis., where he resided until his death. He is survived by his wife,
son and daughter, a brother in Oregon and a sister of Davenport,
Neb. He was laid to
rest in the Sherwood Cemetery Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Wilson
Mallory officiating. The pallbearers were George M. Redman, Ralph
Scholtz, Albert Gall, Art Sparks and John Coulthard. Those who sang
were: Mrs. Gehre, Mr. and Mrs. Blakely, Edgar Blakely, Mr.
McKinley, Mrs. J. Coulthard, organist. He leaves besides his own
family many neighbors and friends, and those who knew him best will
miss him most. He was a kind father and husband and a good
