JUN 1868 - 6 Feb 1927) Mrs. John Kaudy,
whose maiden name was Luella Brown, was born at Wrightstown, Wis.,
June 15, 1868 and died at Ashland Feb. 6, 1927, aged 58 years, 7
months and 21 days. She came to
Christie, Clark County, Wis. with her parents when a young girl,
and grew to womanhood there. On March 24, 1886 she was married at
Loyal, Clark County to John Kaudy. Most of her married life was
spent at Colby. Mr. Kaudy passed away about two years ago. She is
survived by three children: Mrs. Edward Korzilius and Ione of
Morris, Wis.; and Lewis Kaudy, who lives in the town of York. She
leaves also two sisters, Mrs. Len Boon of Christie and Mrs. Henry
Sischo in Michigan; also five brothers, Lewis, Clarence, Rosco,
Elmer and Ellis Brown of Christie. One sister, Mrs. Reuben Wilson,
and one brother, Edward Brown, are deceased. Mrs. Kaudy will be
sincerely mourned by many old friends who knew her in her younger
days, and in her later visits to relatives in this vicinity. The funeral was
held Wednesday, Feb. 9, at the Presbyterian Church in Neillsville,
Rev. Williams of Morris, Wis., officiating. Burial took place in
