Chandler, daughter of Archibald Yorkston and Anne (nee) Hamilton,
was born in Chicago on the 7th days of April, 1857, and died the
11th of March, 1927, at the home of her niece, Lillian, Mrs. W. H.
Foote, in the town of York, Clark County, Wis. She came with her
parents to Lynn, Clark County, while still a small child, and spent
the greater part of her life in caring for her mother, who preceded
her in death in 1898. In the year of
1906 she was united in marriage to W. J. Chandler. They located in
Neillsville. After the death of her husband she spent the rest of
her life ministering to the wants of the sick and needy. She leaves to
mourn her demise one brother, William Hamilton Yorkston of the town
of Lynn, and Margaret Meacham of Bellingham, Wash., also four
nephews and three nieces. The funeral was
held at the Union Church in Granton Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Rawson
