DEC 1861 - 17 Apr 1927) Frank Ayers died
at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Lynch of Waukesha, where he
had gone for a visit, and where he was suddenly taken very ill. All that loving
hearts and hands could do were of no avail and he passed to the
Great Beyond, April 17, 1927. He was born Dec.
14, 1861, at Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., where he has always
lived. He was married to Emma Cook August 18, 1880. To this union
were born two children, Irving at Neillsville and Blanche, Mrs.
Frank Lynch of Waukesha. His wife passed away March 1, 1925, also
at the home of their daughter at Waukesha. Mr. Ayers was an
honest and upright citizen, a kind and loving husband and father.
He served the city as street commissioner for five successive
years. He will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends. He
leaves to mourn his death, his aged mother, his two children, two
sisters and brothers: Charlie of Minneapolis; Ernest of Lynn; Mrs.
Mary Beaulieu and Mrs. Harriet Brillion; also four
grandchildren. The funeral was
held from the home of his sister, Mrs. Beaulieu, Tuesday, April 19,
Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. He was laid to rest beside his
wife in the Neillsville Cemetery. Those from out of
town who were here to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank
