(12 JUN 1891 - 28 Apr 1927) Mrs. C. O.
Beardsley, formerly well known here, died unexpectedly of throat
infection, after a brief illness. More than ordinary
pathos is attached to the death of Mrs. Harriet King Beardsley,
wife of C. O. Beardsley of Marinette, Wis.. Death followed a throat
infection, the abscess sending forth septic poison that permeated
the entire system, claiming the life of the young wife and mother
at 2 o'clock in the morning of April 28, 1927, at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Menomonie, Mich., where she had been removed on Wednesday
from her home at 1425 Garfield Ave., Marinette. Mrs. Beardsley was
born near Granton, Clark County, Wis., June 12, 1891, being at the
time of her death 35 years, 10 months and 16 days of age. She is
survived by her husband and five children: Sylvia, George, Robert,
Russel and William; two brothers, George King of Niagara, and
Timothy King of Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Floy Lee of Granton,
Mrs. Ethel Fulwiler of Marinette, and her mother, Mrs. Clara King
of Green Bay, the father having preceded her in death two months,
and one brother, Forest King, having passed away seven years
ago. The final illness
was of ten days' duration. The body was removed to L. D. Martin
mortuary and later was taken to the family residence. The funeral
was held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from the first M. E. Church, of
which Mrs. Beardsley was a member. The Rev. Alfred Hood officiated
and interment was made in Forest Home Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
