(1849? - 27 Apr 1927) Charles L. Hall,
an old resident of the town of Sherman, Clark County, Wis., died at
St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, April 27, aged 77 years. Mr.
Hall came to this county about 1879, and with his father, went into
the saw mill business, which he carried on for many years, later
developing a large farm. Mr. Hall was one of the old-time scholars,
being a graduate of Milton College. He was a classmate of former
State Superintendent J. B. Thayer, and an associate of other
