of Black River Falls, Assessor of Incomes for Clark and Jackson
Counties, passed away at his home in that city Sunday, aged 69
years. He had not been in good health for some time. He had held
this office for a good many years, and was considered a most honest
and conscientious officer, though in performing his duties he
naturally met with many criticisms and difficulties. He leaves his
wife, one daughter, Mrs. Harry Kelly of Mankato, Minn., two sons,
Will of Sparta and hugh of black River Falls. Mrs. E. E. Crocker of
Neillsville is a sister-in-law. The funeral was
held at the Masonic Temple Tuesday under auspices of the Free
