NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 12/02/1926 Klein, Bessie (23
NOV 1926) St. Mary's
Catholic Church at Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. was the scene of
a pretty wedding on Tuesday Nov. 23, 1926 at nine o'clock in the
morning, when Rev. Father Weber tied the nuptial knot for Mr.
Phillip Spangler and Miss Bessie Klein. The bride and
groom were attended by Pauline and Frank Spangler, a brother and
sister of the groom. The bride appeared very charming in a white
moon-glow satin gown with rhinestone trimming, and wore a pearl
necklace. Her veil was arranged in cap effect, caught with a wreath
of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white ophelia roses
with streamers. The bridesmaid
wore a gown of boise-de-rose canton crepe trimmed with gold and
carried a corsage bouquet of pink and white roses. Following the
ceremony at the church a reception for the happy couple was held at
the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Spangler, for
only the immediate relatives. The room and tables were beautifully
decorated with gold and white streamers and cut flowers. The bride is the
youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Klein of Washburn, Clark
County, Wis. She is a very pleasing and amiable young lady of fine
personality and her friendship is cherished by all who know
her. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Spangler. He has lived all of his life in
the town of York, Clark County, and is a young man who is highly
esteemed and respected by all who know him for his upright and
business qualities. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
