Garbisch, Erna (12 DEC 1926)
A very pretty wedding took place Dec. 12, 1926 in the Lutheran Church in the town of Grant, when Miss Erna Garbisch and Mr. Frank Tykac were united in marriage, the Rev. J. Reiff officiated.
The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garbisch and is well liked by all. She wore a white silk canton crepe dress and carried a bouquet of pink and white roses.
The groom is one of the finest young men in the town of Grant. He is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Tykac. He wore a dark blue suit.
Miss Edna Goebel was maid of honor. She wore a light blue crepe de chine dress and carried a bouquet of roses. Mr. Ervin Garbisch was groomsman. He wore a navy blue suit. Miss Nettie Garbisch acted as bridesmaid, gowned in light pink silk and carried a bouquet of roses. Mr. Emil Hinz was best man. He wore a blue suit. Little Gladys Gluch and Ervin Foemmel were flower girl and boy. They carried a basket of American Beauty roses.
Miss Edna Roder played the wedding march. At 6 o'clock the wedding supper was served by eight waitresses, who were all dressed in white.
About 45 guests were present. The young couple will remain at home for a time. In the spring they will start housekeeping at the Mrs. Margaret Foemmel farm.
