Bieneck, Mr./Mrs. Henry (Gold Anniv -15 Apr 1927)

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bieneck celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage at their home just north of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., on Monday, April 18, a good number of their relatives and other friends assembling to join with them in the happy occasion.

The actual anniversary of their marriage came on April 15, but as that was Good Friday only a quiet observance of the occasion was made; at the home of Rev. Brandt, Mr. and Mrs. Bieneck renewed their vows, Mr. Brandt giving an appropriate address.

At the gathering held on April 18, a bountiful dinner was served in the evening and was greatly enjoyed. A number of appropriate presents were received by the "bride and groom".

Mr. and Mrs. Bieneck were married in Germany, coming to this county in 1883, six years after their marriage. They settled on a farm in Pine Valley northeast of Neillsville, developing this place by hard work. About 30 years ago they sold this place and lived for awhile in Fond du Lac, moving to a farm in the town of Fremont. In 1906 they moved to their present home near the city, Mr. Bieneck engaging in the real estate business. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bieneck are hale and hearty, and it is hoped by their many friends that they May yet see many years of happy life.

To them were born four children: Mrs. Richard Lynch, who died about 9 years ago; Mrs. Wm. Schlinkert, who lives near Neillsville; Caroline at home, and Ernest living at home and carrying on the farm. There are also nine grandchildren.
