FREI OLSON JOHNSON ----Source:
NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 06/23/1927 Frei, Emily (16
JUN 1927) Mr. Richard
Albrecht and Miss Emily Frei were united in marriage Thursday
afternoon, June 16, 1927, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Frei, south of the city. Rev. Caleb Hauser officiated. The
bride was attended by Miss Ellen Olson of Neillsville and Mr.
Maynard Johnson of Pine Valley was groomsman. The bride wore a
dress of white crepe and carried a bouquet of yellow and cream
roses. The bridesmaid wore peach georgette and carried a small
bouquet. The bride grew to
womanhood here (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.), graduated from
Neillsville High School in the class of 1920, taught successfully
in rural schools, attended Eau Claire Normal for a time and for the
past four years has taught in the village schools at Loyal. She is
considered one of the most successful teachers in this county. She
is a young lady of mature mind, efficient in all she undertakes and
possessed of a pleasing personality. The groom was born at Ripon
and came here with his parents when a small boy. He grew up on this
father's farm in the town of Hewett, Clark County, and a few years
ago took a course in the Sweeny Automobile School in Kansas City,
Mo. Since then he has been working at his trade, one year in Ripon
and the past two years at the Neillsville Garage Co. He is a very
efficient workman, pleasant and accommodating, and a young man of
fine character. The bride and
groom went to housekeeping at once in the John Schmoll residence on
the North Side. This worthy young
couple is highly worthy of success and happiness and it is the
earnest wish of all who know them that this will be their lot in
life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
