Wonser, Mermel (10 JUN 1927)

Dr. W. A. Shannon of Takoma Park, D. C., and Miss Mermel Wonser, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Wonser of Granton, Clark County, Wis., were married in Washington, D. C. , June 10, 1927. Dr. Shannon is a graduate of George Washington Univ., Washington, D. C. , later graduating from a medical college and served as an intern at the Walter Reed Hospital in Washington. The bride was a graduate of Granton High School, spent two years at the University of Wisconsin and five years at Walter Reed Hospital, graduating therefrom and remaining in Washington after graduation, as a visiting nurse.

Dr. and Mrs. Shannon went to Norfolk, Va., on a wedding trip and early in July they expect to drive through to Wisconsin on a vacation trip and visit relatives and friends at Granton and other places in this locality.

The bride has many friends in Granton and Neillsville and vicinity who extend sincerest good wishes.
