(22 JUN 1927) A very pretty June
wedding was celebrated at two o'clock p.m. Wednesday, June 22,
1927, when Miss Aneta Catherine Hallie and Mr. Ray Linwood Shaw
were united in marriage, Rev. J. J. Lambright officiating. The
bride and groom were attend by her sister, Miss Freda Hallie, and
Mr. Everett Shaw, brother of the groom, and Lucille Stanley and Leo
Stanley, cousins of the groom. The groom wore a suit of navy blue
and the bride was dressed in white satin with silk over lace, and
wore a veil of white silk net with a wreath of orange blossoms and
carried a shower bouquet of white carnations and pink tea roses.
The bridesmaids wore blue silk and honey dew silk and carried white
carnations and yellow tea roses. The wedding march was played by
Miss Mildred Cattanach. After the
ceremony, a six o'clock dinner was served at the home of the
groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Shaw of Christie, Clark County,
Wis., the dining room being decorated in pink and white crepe paper
and white wedding bells. The waitresses were Misses Albertine
Barton and Miss Mildred Cattanach. About seventy-five guests were
served. A wedding dance was given at the Christie hall in the
evening. The bride and
groom are well known in this locality and have many friends who
wish them much joy and happiness. The newly married
