(1903? - 20 Feb 1928) Roland Kelpe died
at the Lutheran Hospital in Eau Claire Feb. 20, 1928, aged nearly
24 years. He was born in Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., being the
son of Charles Kelpe, who for a number of years taught St. John's
Lutheran Parochial school. Roland was
employed as Manual Training Teacher at Augusta and was taken with
appendicitis. He underwent two operations at the hospital but of no
avail. He leaves his wife and baby 8 months old. The funeral was
held Friday at Tomah where his parents reside. Those who went from
here to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Roehrborn, Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Hemp, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Bartell, Mr. and Mrs. J. L.
